🏗Sunway Construction Group (SUNCON) reported an 18% increase in net profit to RM38.9m in the 2nd quarter of FY24, up from RM33m in the same period last year. Its revenue stood at RM651m, reflecting a 7.8% increase from RM604m last year, driven by improved performance in the construction segment. (New Straits Times, 23rd Aug)
☀UEM Sunrise (UEMS) reported a 23.7% decrease in net profit for the 2nd quarter, attributed to increased operating expenses and a reduced share of net results from joint ventures and associates.
