๐Ÿ“ฃ ๐Ÿ“ฃ Movers on the back of earnings: Xiaomi +6%, Wuxi -6%
๐Ÿ“ฑ Xiaomi: Stock is trading at its highest level since May 2024, above the HKD 18 level after its 6.3% spike to HKD 18.60 as of 945AM this morning. The bullish move has come on the back of better than expected second quarter earnings - where revenue experienced its fastest pace of growth in 3 years, owing to surprisingly strong gross electric vehicle margins. The earnings beat has since triggered analysts to lift future earnings estimates for the company.
๐Ÿ“Š Macquarie's trending Xiaomi call warrant XIAOMI MBeCW241104 (UNFW) (https://warrants.com.sg/tools/livematrix/UNFW) is up 11 times more than Xiaomi shares, increasing 66.7% to SGD 0.020 on the back Xiaomi's +6.2% move, while trending put warrant XIAOMI MBePW241104 (YF5W) (https://warrants.com.sg/tools/livematrix/YF5W) is down 5.5 times more, -35% to SGD 0.013.
๐Ÿ’Š Wuxi Bio: Stock is down 5.5% to HKD 10.76 as of 952AM after the company reported first half net profit that fell 13% from the previous year and significantly missed estimates, due to margins negatively impacted by lower plant utilizations and higher operating costs.
๐Ÿ“Š Macquarie's trending Wuxi call warrant WuxiBio MBeCW250103 (EHTW) (https://warrants.com.sg/tools/livematrix/EHTW) down 14.3% to SGD 0.012. There is no trending put warrant tracking Wuxi.
