104741793 : Its price is kept above MYR 2 as it's expected to dispose of its almost redundant Johor sugar refinery plant with a potential buyer Wilmar(a sizeable raw sugar player globally). It's redundant as the original plant built by the Kuok Group in Butterworth is able to meet local demand. It built the Johor plant in the name of exporting sugar from Malaysia though the country doesn't produce significant raw sugar. The plant was built most likely with hidden agenda such as fleecing etc. This play isn't uncommon for GLCs.
