MSTR Concentration Strategy Part 2
One of the more powerful things Michael Saylor is famous for saying is “there is no second best” when asked if he was interested in diversifying into other crypto assets.
I consider this true when considering diversifying into other stocks.
A year ago I had a basket of Tesla, Eli Lilly, Microstrategy and my investments were roughly split 33,33,33. However, on any given day I noticed that when one was going up another our be flat and one would be going backwards and my position stayed flat.
When reflecting on Michael Saylors quote and thinking about my aims I decided if he was exclusively buying bitcoin, why shouldn’t I be exclusively in Microstrategy? It has the highest growth and seems to have the best plan for future growth.
So I’m exclusively in MSTR and MSTX/MSTU and I toggle these depending on how I feel about the price.
I wanted to invest 100k USD and ride it up to 1 million USD in this bullrun. If this plan worked then I might be in the position to retire early as we already own our own home outright.
In July 2024 I was asked to resign, and having found the job market flat, and feeling rather uncertain about my immediate prospects this plan became an imperative.
Having this clarity of strategy helped me rather than hurt my commitment. As Saylor says, everyone needs a reason to invest in Bitcoin, they need to be desperate. He said he was desperate and guess what, so was I.
Well, so far so good. I’m up 2-300% and am paying my bills at the same time. I’m well on my way to my target for this bullrun and we’re only in December. I’m not relaxed - there’s still urgency - but I’m hopeful now. Microstrategy has given me hope.

HMS Victorious OP 离火股运 - 乘风破浪 : It’s was 30 - 40 dollars when I bought in originally but I’ve floated in and out of them. I’ve also seen big fluctuations in my position. My decision making is improving though as far as toggling between etf and stock.
