Channel News Asia reported:
1) Musk has denied a media report that he pledged to donate US$45 million per month to Trump, but he said he had created a political action committee.
2) Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Tuesday (Jul 23) that US presidential candidate Donald Trump's potential removal of support for electric vehicles would hurt other automakers more than Tesla.

Media: Musk denied donation US$45 million per month to Trump Super PAC
The Guardian:
1) Tesla CEO Elon Musk has denied reports that emerged last week that he was  planning to donate $45m a month to a Super Pac focused on getting Trump elected. On Tuesday, Musk appeared on Jordan Peterson’s show, where he said the claim was “simply not true”. “I am not donating $45m a month to Trump,” he said.
2) After the Peterson interview, Musk replied on X to a clip from the interview saying, “Yeah”, and to another tweet referencing the reports saying, “Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I am making some donations to America PAC, but at a much lower level and the key values of the Pac are supporting a meritocracy & individual freedom.

My Take: This is the latest news reporting that Elon Musk denied donating $45 a month to Trump Super PAC. I have reported that he has made the same statement a week ago. Read here: Elon confirms the $45 million a monthly pledge to pro-Trump PAC is FALSE
However, anti-Tesla (and someone) refused to accept this fact even when Reuters reported Elon Musk's name is not found in the donation list. This goes to show that they are hardcore who just wanted to see Tesla (or Elon Musk) failed.
I have already shared a post that Trump's removal of support of electric vehicles will not hurt Tesla and will help Tesla to win back the market share. It is reported that what Trump meant was to introduce a new law to "give consumers more choices" and "remove mandate to EV". It is a misconception that Trump wants to remove the $7,500 tax credit which can only be done through voting in the US Congress. The new US President cannot remove a bill that has been passed by the Congress and signed by the previous President.
