My 2 Months' Journey as a New Investor

1.Always pick US dividend stocks that are blue chips. Dividends payout should be quarterly or monthly.
- Benefit: Ensures a steady income stream and invests in financially stable companies.

2.Blue-chip stocks should align with relevant global trends and be informed by their strong historical performance.
- Benefit: Reduces risk by investing in established companies with a proven track record, increasing potential for long-term gains.

3.Research: Compare stocks and select the best-analysed ones.
- Benefit: Increases the likelihood of making informed and profitable investment decisions.

4.Frequency of buying: Once a month or bimonthly (once in two months).
- Benefit: Enables consistent investment, allows for strategic dollar-cost averaging, and reduces accumulative transaction fees.

5.Buy in bulk of one or a few stocks periodically.
- Benefit: Reduces transaction costs and allows for more significant positions in selected stocks.

6.Buy more of existing stock(s): Purchase (also known as "dip") if it falls way below the initially purchased price or average price.
- Benefit: Lowers the average purchase price and maximises potential returns when the stock price recovers.

7.Sell a stock(s) when it is determined to be falling behind its peers and replace it with a winning competitor stock.
- Benefit: Ensures the portfolio remains strong by eliminating underperforming assets and incorporating better-performing ones.

8.Buy new stock(s) when no existing stock's purchase price or average price is below the current stock's price.
- Benefit: Diversifies the portfolio and takes advantage of new investment opportunities.

9.Have at least 1 or 2 historically strong-performing diversified ETFs (eg., VOO and QQQM).
- Benefit: Provides broad market exposure and reduces individual stock risk, ensuring steady portfolio growth.

10.Engage in tasks assigned by the broker to accumulate monetary rewards to add value to the investment portfolio.
- Benefit: Increases the investment capital without additional expenditure, enhancing portfolio growth potential.

11.Others: Limit Exposure to High-Risk Investments (such as Penny Stocks, Forex, Cryptocurrencies, etc.) and Avoid Emotional Investing
