My 2023 Investment Journey Recap

I don't reveal my portfolio due to privacy reason. Some of my stocks are based on tech stocks like magnificent seven and related to artificial intelligence. The returns are pretty good especially in 2H when inflation is cooling and FED hinted rate cut next year. I'm hopeful the stock market rally is coming when the interest rate pivots.
I don't have a favourite chart but believe that a company's fundamentals are an important factor to consider when buying a stock. I made a post about Tesla a year ago when the share price was at the lowest. Despite all the negative ratings and what the bears said about this stock, I made a post highlighted Tesla's fundamentals. Currently Tesla stock value is up more than 100% YTD. In October, I made a forecast based on trending and company's fundamentals that Tesla stock will rally next year.

The story above showed that the stock market is forward looking and your P/L in the future depends on how you invest NOW not later. Hence it is critical to plan ahead on what stocks to buy now. I'm glad that I  bought some of these stocks last year and here's my visualized P/L:

My valuable lesson is to take the leap of faith to start the investment journey which is fun and rewarding. Although the end result is important, the process is critical too as it shapes how you invest.
