My Asset Distribution by far
The reason why I hold that much cash as of today is because I am waiting for opportunity to enter positions on some of the stocks (refer below) that I wish to hold for long term. As some of their stock prices are already skyrocketted and no longer below their intrinsic value, I have to be patient and wait for a retracement or market correction. Don’t chase the girls, let them come for you.
2024 has been a great year for me as I have started my option trading journey apart from just investing. Option trading helped to turbocharge my portfolio and I’m still learning some of the strategies that I like, i.e. bull put spread and bear call spread.
My goal in investing has always been for long term. Companies such as $Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$ , $Meta Platforms (META.US)$ and $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ are in my radar at the moment. These are the companies which I believe will lead the market for the next 10 years. Especially the AI + VR market.
I’m fortunate enough to start as early in my 30s and my goal has always been to escape the 8-to-5. And I have set a 10 years goal for myself.
