My Half-Year Recap by NiceOne

At the beginning of the 2024 I was thinking everything is overpriced. Boy, have I been never been more wrong! Ok... it looks like I have fallen asleep at the wheel. High interest rates have lulled me into thinking I'm doing fine but in reality I have been missing out significantly. The following chart says it all (my portfolio vs S&P 500).

And here's what I've been doing with my cash... sitting idle in Cash Plus. 94.60% cash sleeping when I could have done more!

Don't get me wrong. Cash Plus by Moomoo is a wonderful feature and I will continue to use it. The problem is I have become lazy and rely solely on it. My bad!

To fix this is simple. Firstly I have taken two new positions in June and they are as follows.

Next I will set up a couple of RSP for weekly auto-investments on a few of my favourite stocks. Moomoo has provided me with wonderful technologies to easily do that. It would be a travesty if I do not make full use of Moomoo's features. Remember investing is never about timing the market. Small but regular investments will beat the smart alec who tries to bottom fish.

Finally I must extend my gratitude to the Moomoo team. The Moomoo trading app is god-sent for any serious investor. Highly recommended!
