My Investment Plan for year 2024

1. What is your investment plan and outcome for 2023? Were there any challenges that surprised you?
2. Which investment sector gave you the most satisfaction? Do you have a particular fund in mind?
3. What is your fund investment plan for 2024? Are there any specific sectors that you are bullish on?
4. Which fund themes do you think have the most potential for growth?
My investment plan for 2023 is mainly value stock and I take long position. If the conditions are right, I may trade options with calculated risk. The investment returns are turning green for some stocks but volatility risk still exists. There were few occasions when small rally help me to profit from options trading.
In 2024, I am planning to invest in tech stocks particularly artificial intelligence but prudently. To avoid emotional trading (panic selling and greed buying), I need to be followed strictly to my investment goal and continue to write my investment journal (research on the company profile with due diligence). I may invest in fund or ETF related to AI and my favourites are still the magnificent seven.
As inflation is cooling and Fed paused rate, I'm investing part of my emergency fund in stable fund such as cash plus fund - $Fullerton SGD Cash Fund(SG9999005961.MF)$ and CSOP USD $CSOP USD Money Market Fund(SGXZ96797238.MF)$ . I foresee stock market will experience small rally in next month or early Q1 which is the opportunity to trade options.
