My investment story

I'm in my day 105 on Moomoo. This is my first real exposure to the stock market. There were a few instances prior to this when I intended to get into the game. But I procrastinated. When I saw Moomoo's ad in May '24 and saw that the incentives were good, I finally took the first step.

I'm very glad that this super app is very information-rich and enables community-building. Without which, I don't think the investment journey will be sustainable for me as I like to learn, and I like interaction.

Having an impatient nature, I made many rookie mistakes that cost me dearly. Lesson learned.

Having real hard-earn money in the game made me quite serious, more serious than my actual job, which I trade my time and experience for (good) money. I need the money from my job to increase my capital; I also need to hone my skills in the stock market.

My aim ultimately is to learn as much as I can to be hands-off one day to focus on a quality life. Now, I'm still in the learning stage.

Moomoo Tom over here gives me good motivation.
