I'm thrilled to be part of this incredible milestone where Futu Wealth Management's AUM has surpassed US$10 billion! It’s an achievement that speaks volumes about the trust and commitment of the Moomoo community. Here’s a glimpse into my journey with Moomoo Money Plus and some thoughts on the future.
My Journey with Moomoo Money Plus
When I first started using Moomoo Money Plus, I was drawn by its intuitive interface and the excellent returns it offered compared to traditional savings accounts. Over time, I've grown to appreciate the platform's seamless integration with my overall investment strategy and the peace of mind it provides as a low-risk investment option.

One of my most significant financial victories was navigating the volatile market during the pandemic. Moomoo Money Plus and the smartsave feature provided a stable place to park my funds while waiting for the right opportunities for trades, ensuring liquidity while still earning decent returns. I’ve learned the importance of diversifying my investments and the value of having a reliable, low-risk component in my portfolio.
Fullerton SGD Fund and CSOP USD Money Market Fund
I’ve had great experiences with specific funds available on the platform. The $Fullerton SGD Cash Fund (SG9999005961.MF)$ has been an excellent choice for maintaining liquidity with steady returns in Singapore Dollars. Additionally, the $CSOP USD Money Market Fund (SGXZ96797238.MF)$ has provided me with a reliable option for my USD holdings while waiting for the best trades, balancing risk and return effectively.
Now I have just started moving to other funds like $LionGlobal SGD Enhanced Liquidity Fund (SG9999019293.MF)$ to try out!!
Proposals and Wishlist
While the platform is already robust, here are a few ideas to make it even better:
Enhanced Educational Resources: More tutorials and webinars on the benefits and strategies for using money market funds effectively. Maybe some new kind of investment strategies for money market funds?
Increased Fund Options: Introducing a variety of money market funds with different risk profiles and returns could cater to a broader range of investment strategies. Also, make these new funds with a shorter settlement date!
Automated Investment Features: Tools for automatically reallocating funds between Money Plus and other investment options based on market conditions, or maybe with a new moomoo debit card that can be used seamlessly with smartsave? ![]()
Final Thoughts
Moomoo Money Plus has been a game-changer in my investment journey. The combination of competitive returns, low risk, and ease of access has made it an indispensable tool for me. As we celebrate this milestone, I’m excited to see how Moomoo continues to evolve and support its users.
