My view in E-Commerce stocks
There are many shopping sites here but I use Shopee and Lazada most often. Shopee is owned by the Sea Group $Sea (SE.US)$ and Lazada belongs to the Alibaba Group $Alibaba (BABA.US)$ . The shopping sites are attractive because they offer competitive prices and have a good reward system for customers.
Amazon
Despite not shopping on Amazon sites (e-commerce), I invested in $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ because the company has many growth potentials - cloud computing, digital streaming and artificial intelligence. It has many subsidiaries including Kuiper System which provides satellite internet service (similar to SpaceX starlink). The Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos also owns Blue Origin which rivals with Elon Musk owned SpaceX.

Sea and Alibaba
I didn't invest in the 2 stocks $Sea (SE.US)$ and $Alibaba (BABA.US)$ . Despite Alibaba Group having many growth potentials, I will only invest in the stock until the company's uncertainties are cleared - the progress on the "1+6+N" restructuring plan and the potential delisting from the US stock exchange. Although Sea Group set up the Headquarter in Singapore, the major shareholder is Tencent. I have no plan to invest in the stock because it didn't fit into my portfolio.
Bottom line: I may enjoy the service provided by the company but there are other considerations when investing in the stock.
