put 20% of your money to work if you have the inclination to buy and then wait and be patient and don't worry if it goes up to 3% from where you bought it because it could just as easily reverse and if in a day or two we begin to stabilize at lower or higher you can nibble again another 20%
what you don't want to do is commit all of your money at one time if you want to go out to yours from today and buy a long-term equity option a leap on the S&P or the NASDAQ or a chip basket this is when you want to do it when the market is screaming in pain because you will have 2 years or 3 years depending upon your option for earnings to come back in and for stocks to get bid up. just don't commit all your money at one point in time because very seldomly are bottoms in a V
