NetDragon and EDA (Thailand) presented a new aom-ai education platform (currently under development and expected to be launched at the end of this year) at the “SCI Power for Future Thailand” expo.
[July 25, 2024, Hong Kong] NetDragon Network Holdings Limited (“NetDragon”, HKEx stock code: 0777), the world's leading Internet community creator, and its local Thai operating company EDA (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“EDA (Thailand)”) jointly announced the launch of a strategic plan aimed at promoting education innovation in Thailand in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (“MHESI”) of Thailand. The two sides will present an advanced AI-enabled education platform at the “MHESI Fair SCI Power for Future Thailand” exhibition hosted by MHESI. The exhibition was held from July 22 to 28, 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.
Dr. Liang Nianjian, Vice Chairman of NetDragon, said, “As a global leader in technological and educational innovation, NetDragon has been committed to developing comprehensive solutions covering hardware, software, and education platforms for more than 10 years. Our unremitting efforts have made NetDragon an important driver of the digital transformation of education. Our products and services have covered 192 countries around the world, benefiting 0.15 billion users. We are honored to bring these advanced education technologies to the Thai market to fulfill our vision of building the world's largest learning community.”
The core of this collaboration is the new platform “aom-ai”, which aims to achieve personalized education experiences through advanced AI technology. Dr. Leung added, “Relying on an AI-enabled teaching model, the aom-ai platform can be adjusted according to individual learning styles to enhance knowledge absorption efficiency and user participation. The platform not only supports vocational training, but can also be extended to the field of lifelong learning to ensure that Thai users can receive educational services that are efficient and tailored to their own needs.”
Mr. Natasak Rodjanapiches, Executive Director of EDA (Thailand), emphasized the influence of AOM-AI on the local community and stated, “AOM-AI is a fusion of NetDragon's technical strength and EDA (Thailand)'s deep local insight, marking a major breakthrough in learning technology. The platform will not only support independent learning, but also provide users with certification certificates, and is also committed to cultivating a culture of continuous learning, which is particularly critical for career development in the digital age. Through the aom-ai platform, we will help Thai citizens better integrate into the digital economy and stand out from it.”
At the MHESI exhibition, NetDragon and EDA (Thailand) booths were divided into two zones: immersive learning and independent learning. The Autonomous Learning Zone showcased the AOM-AI platform and how the lifelong learning platform provides AI teacher support. The immersive learning area showcased NetDragon's global technology solutions, including Prometheus and Rokid AI, as well as 360-degree VR gaming chairs, bringing visitors a full range of experiences.
