1M65 : try to purchase in lots each time. 1 lot = 1,000shares. U will loose out if the bank distribute foc shares and easier to calculate dividends too.
Come Money Come OP : I see. So can I build up my odd shares to a lot?
Moomoo Lily : @Moomoo Buddy Please assist. Thanks!
Moomoo Buddy : Dear client, generally, if you hold the listed company stocks before ex-date, you will be qualified dividends. And we are support trade odd lots, if you need to trade odd lots that are less than a board/full lot, kindly go to the Stock page, click "Trade", and select "odd lot order" in the Order type. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via MooMoo-Me-Customer Service-Online Inquiry or hotline (+65)-6321 8888 Thank you for your support! Have a nice day!
hownowbrowncow 1M65 : 100 not 1000
1M65 hownowbrowncow : aiya.. prev it's only 1000 shares for 1 lot la.. anyway whichever counter U purchase need to see the indicated counter lot size.
hownowbrowncow 1M65 : bro here is asking about DBS, and 1 lot in SGX reduced from 1,000 to 100 since 2015. better to give updated answer.
1M65 hownowbrowncow : whatever uall purchase, need to consider the transaction cost (trading fee, clearing fee, etc) to see worthwhile anot.. no point buying just a mere miserable small volume when the transaction cost is not worthy.
for one thing I only trust SG bank platform for majority of my investment. using iocbc
Beginner luck 1M65 : hi , if i using iocbc to purchase. the share will register in CDP like DBS Vicker do or their custodian account?
1M65 Beginner luck : mine is under sgx (CDP) and not under iocbc custodian. if I not wrong there might be a fee if it's park under ocbc side. sgx no fee.
all div/foc shares or what all reflected under sgx. can login to check transactions
