Newbie investor

I just started my investment journey a month ago and it was because I felt like I needed to make my money work for me. Since I was really new I did some research and found out about ETFs from a YouTuber I follow. it seemed to be a good place to start as it spread out the risks over a basket of shares, the picking of shares had already been done for me by experts and I knew I wanted to start with the S&P 500. I choose to invest in $SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF (SPLG.US)$ . It has shares picked that mirrored the more popular ETFs but at a more affordable price. I've got lots to learn but reading other people's ETF journey has been helpful and enriching, thank you for sharing your journey!
