WISeKey Subsidiary WISeSat to Launch Second Proof of Concept for SEALCOIN Token
WISeKey's subsidiary WISeSat is set to conduct its second Proof of Concept (PoC) for SEALCOIN in January 2025, coinciding with the launch of a new generation of WISeSat satellites. This PoC will demonstrate SEALCOIN's ability to facilitate decentralized transactions in the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem by transacting tokens via satellites to IoT devices.
The new satellites will feature enhanced capabilities to support machine-to-machine (M2M) transactions from space. This follows a successful first PoC in August, which validated M2M transactions within a terrestrial framework. The SEALCOIN platform uses Decentralized Ledger Technology (DLT)to ensure secure, transparent, and tamper-proof exchanges, aiming to create a scalable Transactional IoT (t-IoT)infrastructure.
