Vuzix Receives Production Order for Customized Waveguides from a Major Defense Customer
Vuzix (NASDAQ: VUZI) has secured a six-figure production order for customized waveguides from a major US-based aerospace and defense industry leader. The waveguides will be used to create a lightweight heads-up display (HUD). The customer, who is described as an incumbent supplier for several existing programs, has chosen Vuzix specifically as a US-based manufacturer of waveguide and display technologies.
