Nifty and SENSEX are being updated to record highs, energy stocks and real estate stocks are at the top of the rate of increase, and IT stocks are the worst hit

Helped by a sharp rise in energy stocks and real estate stocks, Nifty and Sensex traded in a high price range and reached an all-time high.
As of noon, SENSEX is 0.4% higher to 81,681, and NIFTY is 0.42% higher to 24,939. The price increase was approximately 2,133 shares, and the price drop was 1,223 shares, 94 shares unchanged.
The broker market remained strong in the morning, rising 0.6% and 0.9%, respectively, before outperforming the headline index. Since the beginning of the year, the small and medium cap indices have each risen 26%, far exceeding Nifty's 15% increase rate over the same period.
Supported by increases in NTPC, Power Grid Corp, BPCL, and Coal India, the Nifty Energy Index rose 2%, making it the strongest performance on exchanges. Also, stocks such as DLF and Godrej Properties rose, and the real estate index showed steady movements. Nifty Motors also performed well, rising close to 1%.
The IT index fell 0.3%, making it the worst performance on the exchange. TCS and LTIMindtree took the worst hits and dragged the index.
fundamentals
“The continued inflow of funds into mutual funds and the enthusiasm of individual investors will keep the market strong. The rise in valuation continues to be a cause of concern, particularly within the overall market. V.K. Vijayakumar of Geogit Financial Services said, “The current healthy trend in the market is that excellent stocks with good performance prospects are gaining strength as institutional investors buy them. “At high valuations, unexpected triggers can cause market corrections. Therefore, investors now need to be a little cautious about chasing stocks. Partial profit determination is also conceivable for segments that have skyrocketed too much,” he added.
Technical point of view
Pravdas Lilada Vaisaly Parek said that the upper target for indices trading at current levels is 25,600, and the area around the 24,500 level will be the main support. The intraday support is 80,900 and 24,700, and the resistance is 81,900 for SENSEX and 25,000 for NIFTY.

Stock price movements
NTPC: In response to good financial results for the April-6 fiscal year (Q1FY25), the stock price rose 5% and hit an all-time high. The brokers believe that the thermal power and nuclear power generation business will drive further growth in the future, and they have not lost their bullish view on NTPC.
Since the performance of the Carpathal Project for the fiscal year ending April-6 (Q1FY25) was sluggish, stock prices fell 5%. Real estate companies' consolidated net profit decreased by approximately 26% from 11.3 billion rupees in the same period last year to 8.4 billion rupees.
