ZnWC : Nio reported Q4 2024 delivery on 3 Jan. The stock was up 1.7%, hit 4.91 USD the next day and dropped 4.2% back to the share price before the announcement. It is important to look at the earnings report not just delivery.
The reporting time between delivery and earnings of the same quarter for NIO is about 2 months (most companies are about 1 month). For example in 2024 NIO reported Q4 (Oct to Dec) delivery on 2 Jan but you would only see Q4 earnings on 5 Mar. Investors may be too late to react when they read about the net loss earnings.
