Nio buyers can afford a SU7 anytime...But Xiao Mi buyers may not be able to afford Nio cars.
Also there are more components in the Nio car compared to xiao Mi..software Ai, mechanical systems, detailing etc..
It takes longer to build a Nio car too..

Later new Onvo model launching also need to adjust again until 3rd Qtr with the F3 ready then the Nio real potential will emerged. You think making an EV is like making toys? Xiaomi also took 7 mths to achieve the 20k production ok. Same as Onvo will need time to ramp up the production every mth. From Oct 5k to Dec should have 10k production. 74216494 TWP PaPa : Of course, NIO can not produce so many cars like XIAOMI. Simply because of the production of 7 different models, NIO needs to come close to XIAOMIs superior demand of just one model. Which also increases NIOs cost of production and supplies over XIAOMI. The danger with technical superior model line is, that you do not produce enough to become profitable, to survive. In German automobile history there are several examples, like Horch, Wanderer or Borgward. Or, in IT, who still remembers OS/2 the better WIndows ?
