US investors obviously like to buy American stocks. Question then, why don't the Chinese buy Chinese stock ? Wait a minute, Chinese investors buy Chinese stock, i.e. XIAOMI or ZEEKR. Or also XPEV. Then the question is, is why should US-investors buy NIO, when not even Chinese do ?

Thank you for this detailed explanation. Then again the question, why should US investors buy NIO shares, when not even Chinese do this ? May be, they recognized NIO as a corp, just to drain the money from the American investors, with no serious intention to make a profit ?

I think you might be right that US invest see NIO for what it is, a vehicle to drain money from US investors into a company that will never make a profit or sell cars in the US.
