$NIO Inc (NIO.US)$This is my opinion only. I figured out for selling short term put option, it will be equivalent to buying the underlying stocks itself at the dip. I prefer longer term options which eliminates out the daily volatility. Also if you look at Jan 2027 $4.00 put option with $1.45 interest, your net buying price is only $2.55 (which has alot safety margin).
For 2 years away, I am quite sure Nio will have sufficient time to ramp up all production plus 5000+ swapping station by then. To me, I want to invest longer term cos I am confident of Nio long term strategy, technology and the state investors behind them.
As option is leverage position, the return (1.45) versus the margin put aside for 25 months = 58% per annum.

74216494 : Why 5000+ swapping stations, when not enough cars sold, to utilize them ? XIAOMIs SU7 is THE example for a popular model, outselling ALL of NIOs models just after 10 month of introduction. Whereas NIO had 10 years to achieve this. Instead of developing a NIO model, which is more sexy than the actual ones, to be produced en masse and sold for a reasonable price, to promote swapping, NIO develops the ugly duck, called Firefly, which even needs different swap stations, to be built. Requiring another vast amount of money to be spent. Which obviously is the hobby of "The Leading ZERO" of NIO. Is he SHORTing against own position ? If he does, at least one success he has, obviously.

74216494 WKY57 OP : Unfortunately for you, SHORTs have been wright about NIO to be on its "Road to Hell" for years already. You give no reason for a change, besides a pipe dream. Especially, because of increasing competition for NIO. I.e. XIAOMI, which can produce a car people really want, or CATL, to build their own network of swapping stations.
