On one day, the market chatters were fed is cutting rate, economy is resilient, we are headed for a soft landing.
Then on another day, investors started to have fears over a recession. This came after initial jobless claims rose the most since August 2023. The ISM manufacturing index, a barometer of factory activity in the US, came in at 46.8%, which is worse than expected and a signal of economic contraction

OceansWave : Basically the market is feeling that it may crash as they feel the rates are cut too late.. Fed priority are Jobs and Inflation.. yes inflation is under control and going down, however it shows that number of jobless in the market is also increase due to prolonged inflation. Plus the instability of the Middle East region between Israel and Iran.. this is not looking good
