NU Holdings Shares Jump After-Hours as Revenue, Profit Beat Estimates
$Nu Holdings (NU.US)$ rallied more than 6% in extended trading after the digital banking platform reported second quarter profit and revenue that surpassed analysts' estimates.
The Sao Paulo, Brazil-based company said Tuesday that the company's revenue climbed 65% to a record $2.8 billion, beating the $2.66 billion expected by analysts, according to the average of estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Adjusted net income more than doubled to $562.5 billion, climbing above the $451.6 billion average analyst estimate.
The company added 5.2 million customers, taking the total to 104.5 million, higher than the 103.1 million expected by analysts.
