Nvidia and Semis Pull Market Higher after KamalaTakes the Stage | Herd on Wall Street

Morning traders, Happy Monday, where the market is open and working properly following a blue screen filled Friday. Investors are pricing in the aftermath of the closest to election day step down of a presumptive nominee: Biden is out.  
$Verizon(VZ.US)$ stock traded 6% lower on Monday after it reported fiscal second-quarter results. Its sales increased 0.6% yearly to $32.8 billion, marginally missing the analyst consensus estimate of $33.1 billion. Adjusted EPS of $1.15 was in line with the analyst consensus estimate. It was the lowest teacher on the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
$CrowdStrike(CRWD.US)$ continues to fall following an 11% drubbing Friday. Wedbush says IT outage issues are still persisting in spots around the globe. Monday, the stock fell a further 0%, the lowest on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100.
Investors are in for an action packed earnings week, featuring $Alphabet-C(GOOG.US)$ and $Tesla(TSLA.US)$ earngins on Tuesday after the market closes, alongside $Visa(V.US)$.
$NVIDIA(NVDA.US)$ and semiconductors climbed Monday, following a major pullback last week when President Biden said he would crack down on companies that trade semiconductors to China. After Biden announced he would not run for reelection on Sunday and instead paved the way with support for VP Khamal Harris, investors are watching for new signals from what could be a Harris White House.
Semiconductors and semiconductor equipment were back on the rise. Nvidia climbed 4%.

Crude oil futures sagged 0.47% on Monday. Bitcoin fell 1.5%, resting at $66k/coin. Silver and gold both fell in price Monday, while the U.S. 2-year fell and the U.S. 10-year fell.
Monday morning, the   $S&P 500 Index(.SPX.US)$ advanced 0.98%, the     $Dow Jones Industrial Average(.DJI.US)$ climbed 0.46%, and the     $Nasdaq Composite Index(.IXIC.US)$ falling 1.51%.
This week in macroeconomic news, investors are awaiting PCE results on Friday. Investors will watch for lesser inflation gauge indexes throughout the week, like quarterly GDP estimates for the second quarter on Thursday. Wednesday, PMI will show the producers' feelings about the prices.
Tuesday, existing home sales for June will illuminate any changes to the housing market this summer.
