NVIDIA, an artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor manufacturer, has announced that it has not received a document submission order from the U.S. Department of Justice. Bloomberg News reported on the 3rd that the Department of Justice sent document submission orders to multiple companies, including NVIDIA, seeking evidence of antitrust violations.
It is common for the US Department of Justice to send notices requesting information in the form known as a Civil Investigative Demand (CID). These notices are often referred to as document production orders.
