For fiscal Q2 2025, NVIDIA announced unprecedented financial results, topping both revenue and earnings forecasts. The company reported a 122% year-over-year increase in revenue to $30 billion, surpassing the expected $28.857 billion. Earnings per share rose by 168% to $0.68, and net income jumped 168% to $16.599 billion.
However, the gross margin slightly missed the mark at 75.1%, against a consensus of 75.5%. This impressive performance was driven by robust demand for NVIDIA’s AI technologies across various industries. ![]()
Despite these strong results, NVIDIA’s stock dropped nearly 7% in after-hours trading on August 29, possibly due to the third-quarter revenue forecast not meeting some of the more ambitious expectations recently set.
