10baggerbamm : there's nothing wrong with being cautious but you have to understand that the economy is showing signs of slowing and that's what chairman Powell has been waiting for because that will commence a trend where interest rates will be reduced and it's just not going to be a quarter point and be done it will be about 150 basis points to 200 basis points over the next year and a half to two year. a time frame.. and the old saying is when interest rates are high stocks will die when interest rates are low stocks will grow which means RALLY ON!
Shroomie 10baggerbamm : interesting considering all the stocks have rallied even with high interest rates
10baggerbamm Shroomie : you have to look at the bigger picture that if you are an institution if you were a money manager you're not buying a hundred chairs you're not buying a thousand chairs you're buying tens of thousands of shares you cannot do that on anyone given day or you spike the stock is what's going to happen so it takes you months to accumulate a position sometimes even years based off of the enormous size of the portfolio that you may have because you're a long-term thinker people that own Apple own Apple for 5 years 10 years not for one day or what I call an investment that will last a lunch time which is what many people on this platform are looking for is to make a hundred bucks 200 bucks on a trade nothing wrong with that but you're stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. so the point is people are anticipating rates will come down and rates will come down not just one time but over a period of a year and a half to two years which means stocks will gradually rise over that duration because the cost of The debt service that they have on their books the cost for them to borrow everything will be decreased which goes right to the bottom line is pure profits and when companies increase profits stocks trend higher
