I will give u a brief understanding on supply chain

Even if Trump restrict Taiwan, all these big companies will definitely have an alternative plan for production.

I work as a supply chain/procurement role and we always ensure we have alternative in case anything happen to our supplier due to their quality drop or import/export restrictions (like the trump news now)

So don’t worry about it. Nvidia will work around this.

I give you 2 examples on how large companies will work around this supply chain restriction situation:

Example 1: in case Taiwan reduce exports to US due to US import regulation, companies can do things like re-export. Meaning they can send chip from Taiwan to maybe Japan, then re-route back to US & apply certificate of Origin in Japan

Of cos freight charges will be more expensive. But its at most 1k extra per container only (based on my experience). Not gonna affect much

Example 2: partner with a plant in another low tarrif or tarriff-free country. Send the materials to that country. Then get that plant to do the assembly & packing. Then export out from that country. This way, it’s a proof that 30% of the job is done in that country due to certificate of origin requirement

There are alot more work arounds for these situation. Above is just 2 examples. So don’t worry about trump’s word

Just relax and hold. Large companies wont die so easily.

You can either load more on this dip now, or try your luck to see if it will dip further & load more at that point
