10baggerbamm : don't short the stock it's like playing Russian roulette if you want to bet it's going to go down buy a put and you'll need to buy it out of the money put because at the money are far too expensive at least with options you know exactly when you buy a call or buy a put what 100% of your losses are going to be right up front you will never lose more then the cost of the option contract plus whatever the cost of execution of the contract is from whatever firm you're using if you short of stock your losses are unlimited.
