$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ I have been watching the market for three months every trading day in 1 minute chart, and I noted something. It might be wrong, just to share. While many people earn money by bull, there are institutions earn by bear, through short selling. They aim the stock which on hype and the share price rose pre-market, and far from support level. the share price should rise because of good catalyst. However, they short it with big capital to create panic selling and shake off the weak hands. Many people will panic because their anticipation seems wrong and begin to cut loss. It further help them to reduce the price. They normally close the short position by the same day to realize the profit, and the share price will slowly rise again. One obvious thing I noticed is that when the share price bounces back, the net capital inflow doesn’t follow the pattern. It won’t happened in other trading days. I do my research and find that closing the short position doesn’t increase the inflow much because the money is from the short sell rather than outside the market. Therefore, the graphs don’t tally. Moreover, institutions could did it to reduce the share price significantly so they can buy at a lower risk. Anyway, that’s my guess base on my observation. No solid proves.
