I have been working in semiconductors and high performance computing for 10 years. Here is my understanding:
Next AI peak should be in 2026, and then growth will slow, as AI has a lot of limitations at the moment - it's really only good for graphic and text processing, a small portion of scientific computing tasks in the real world. In addition to that porting algorithms to GPU is non-trivial, as most of the stuff still run on CPU.
The thing that will significantly boost GPU application is quantum computing, which should, fingers crossed, come in the next decade.
I'd bet on the companies actively injecting resources in that research field, from hardware to software.

I haven't been following Intel's research, but I'd say AMD performs better for engineering applications, for now. However, most of the stuff that's been created still runs on Intel processors, as compiling software on AMD is also non-trivial. Just wait and see.

i believe the market is underpricing the possibility the ccp will blockade or invade Taiwan which would leave intel as the only option. but looking at Intel's business in the event that doesn't happen isn't very rosey. I'd keep your sizing small bc its a long shot but yeah it would moon if that happened.

I dont know what you mean but AI help me alot in my design work. He can help me summarize the work, optimize work flow, create vba, etc. A lot of stuff i need to memorize and take time to do in the past now can release and just focus to make them better. AI is monster assistance as in some cartoon movie

Just like when the internet started. So many doubters and look where we are now. It’s the same for AI. Same for electric cars as well, look how many are using it today when it started so many were sceptical too.

That's exactly what I mean by graphic and text processing. Thanks for making it easier to understand for the general public.

China should not be able to attack Taiwan, right? Russia attacked Ukraine, a neighboring country that is connected by land, with disastrous consequences. Let alone a strait in between, it seems unlikely, right?
Following the introduction of China's groundbreaking DeepSeek technology, Wall Street giants have revised their investment outlooks for the Chinese market.
Gainer42069 : $Intel (INTC.US)$ to the moon?
