PhotoSynth : I hope you are right….because if the trend truly reverses, Nvda could be down 25-30% by then. Or not, but I want to stay out of the way of any sever turbulence, as that alone can change sentiment at any given time. Over the years I’ve on the wrong side of way too many of those trades. “Hope” in my trading has never made me a dime. But, whenever it does come back, I want to make sure that there’s been enough down volume to exhaust the sellers who aren’t trading on luck but are trading technically, all things being equal with the fundamentals pretty much static. Fear not, we’re only in the first inning of this whole thing, and there’s a growing consensus, that at the rate of acceleration that Nvda is executing at, competition is not any closer, but seems to be fading ever further from the rear view mirror. It’s possible that no one will catch up to Nvidia for years to come…..if ever? So I’m not worrying about this trade ending any time soon. I just want to increase my leverage by lowering my basis and owning more shares in the end,…..that yes willl eventually soar again. But time frame? Got me! ……. I just know that the REAL correction will yield a phenomenal buying opportunity. Some traders see the $95 area. And some even see $40-50. I can only go on what I believe to be true based on my own studies. And right now I’m exercising my hold on emotions to the best of my ability so that I’ve got the dry powder to execute on my plan. It’s hard as hell. Because I always want to be in the market. Just not when markets are showing signs that they may be starting to roll over. Buying Low gets me excited. Right now I’m nibbling at Smowflake. Talk about a pertinent stock that’s just gotten hammered . It’s right on the bottom of its channel. And when that stock moves, it really likes to move!
