Wasqa : It is recommended to upgrade a PC every 3-5 years. Servers 5 years. New hardware is released every 6 months or so. New technologies are developed constantly.

NoahK : Fundamentally - Due to new Xeon processor release(long pending), the server and workstations are to be refreshed this year. nVidia is integral part for any server/workstation grade rig. 70% of laptops need it.Every compute blade that does number crunching need it.Anyone does scientific stuff need it.
Now since nVidia is all about performance, the AI boom coming through must have this.
Now do the math yourselves. If you can't, check the Analyst rating for target price, they have done there math for us to look at.
