I'm learning that the blackwell chip delay is due to a design flaw that was discovered late in the manufacturing process.

this has led to a redisign of the chip, and caused production issues at Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing company. this delay will postpone the release by about 3 months.

major clients like microsoft, google and meta have placed major orders for these chips and will be impacted too.

they are mitigating the delay by producing a single-gpu version and prioritising certain models of the chip.

so i think in short term there will be high volitilty, and will lead to a little lower revenue, which may offer competitors a little time to shine.
