Ppl still think AI is some fad or bubble or we...

Anything requiring data entry no longer requires a human. Auto-generated subtitles, scribing, ordering, selling, buying, payroll, auditing, anything requiring sifting through data is now able to be done through automated processes.

You hear people bitch constantly about all the "bot trading" manipulating markets. Same people will say AI is overblown.

Did people think the same about computers back in the 80s? Calculators back in the 60s?

Only thing I didn't anticipate with AI was businesses using it for ethically bankrupt reasons, like Kroger using it with facial recognition to provide "personalized" service, remembering everything you buy and using it to dynamically hike prices.

I'm guessing it will take another major event where people end up paying 50 dollars for tissue paper or charging brown people more for specific accessories before the regulation hammer drops.
