  • KK k : After falling by a dozen knives from 140, a bunch of people came out and shorted themselves [undefined] A bunch of ghosts. It went up a dollar or two and said it was a fake breakthrough, and I really want to know if they actually hold shares? How many more did you buy?

  • fire bull l OP KK k : I'll just reveal it to you. I bought a PUT of around 130 last week 2 and closed my position yesterday because the risk was reduced by half. All I can say is that the current stock market is seriously overvalued because of unlimited dollars. Think about the concept of 3 trillion a few years ago[undefined][undefined][undefined]

  • MomentumPython1337 : many people here just talk big they own a whopping 1 share and cry like a baby when it drops by 5% like bruh that's what 10 bucks that ain't even 1 meal

  • KK k MomentumPython1337 : I also earned it at 130, even though only 100 shares are currently losing 4.38%. The future AI computers, AI phones, and even AI home appliances are very good long-term development strategies. I hope to see everyone at their peak by the end of the year 👌?

  • fire bull l OP KK k : The chip design can be done by anyone else. The moat is not strong. The future will only be full of flowers. Moreover, CEO Huang still has more than 5 million shares to be sold by the beginning of next year, and the shareholding ratio does not show that there will be much benefit in the next period

  • KK k fire bull l OP : Wouldn't it be a good thing that hundreds of families didn't even try to fight? From upstream production to downstream applications, the entire sector is trending

  • MomentumPython1337 fire bull l OP : the moat for CUDA is as wide as it can get good luck trying to run deep learning models on anything that doesn't support CUDA it's not going to happen in at least 1 year's time
the closest anyone has succeeded is APPL with their MPS framework which only runs on M2/m3 silicon so far not a dent in the AI industry anything else still runs on CUDA.
GOOGL has TPUs but no one actually uses TPUs outside of GOOGL's internal teams I don't think they're even putting effort into commercialising these TPUs
as for AMD despite their potential they've not even managed to grab any data center market share from NVDA it's a shameful comparison their ROCm software is buggy and terrible
lastly INTC is just a dying business the only reason they're still alive is partly due to the US chips act subsidies and partly due to remaining demand for their CPUs which they're already losing market share to AMD's CPUs. they still have nothing that comes close to NVDA's GPUs
so no it's not as simple as just magically coming up with a new GPU the whole software stack needs to be implemented and it needs to be as well-designed as CUDA it's a lot of work to replace an entire ecosystem that's how companies protect their moat
i suggest you be very cautious if you're buying puts or shorting this stock, maybe short term pullbacks sure you can win some quick money but anything longer term it's too early to say that NVDA will lose market share or lose its revenue

  • fire bull l OP MomentumPython1337 : Hehe, everyone's opinion is different. If you're optimistic, keep holding it. I'm going on vacation. Departure break
