corbotron : hmmmm if innocent people are getting caught in crossfire it's pretty awful. it's happening on both sides and I personally am pretty ignorant to all happening there. I just believe that anyone getting killed for ideology is pretty bad. wars always have innocents in the middle and that's always a sad fact. I don't think anyone should praise the bombardment of civilians

ElusiveTrader OP corbotron : I was told my Christians irl that Israel would be protected by Jesus and God and that no harm would be done to the holy land or it's people. Keep praying while you're family gets blown up, keep praying. If God is in control of everything then he wants his israeli followers to get bombed or he could stop it.

corbotron ElusiveTrader OP : it's awful to think that war is somehow justified. killing other people for beliefs is a sad reality of the world. I personally don't condone the violence historically by either side but again I'm pretty ignorant and don't live or have personal experience or heritage to relate to. personally I feel that long grudges like this are a waste of time and energy. and the question of who is right and wrong gets so muddied over time and it's kinda forgotten and just persists because that's the way it's always been.
