Morning mooers! Happy Monday, June 24th. The market is open and climbing, my name is Kevin Travers, and I am back from a trip to the UK, I'll share some videos this week alongside stories from the herd on Wall Street today.
In moovers, $Trump Media & Technology (DJT.US)$ climbed 17%. Last week, the firm said it expects $69.4 million in cash from an exercise of warrants. The stock faces volatility in the lead-up to the first presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, scheduled for Thursday night in Atlanta, Ga.
$ResMed (RMD.US)$ falling sharply after Eli Lilly said Friday its weight-loss drug reduced the severity of sleep apnea, one of the markets served by the medical device maker. It was the largest decliner on the S&P 500.
$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ fell 5%, pulling down the Nsadaq and tech companies as the firm's price pulled back after taking the lead in the market cap race above Microsoft and Apple last week. It was the largest decliner on the Nasdaq 100.
In industries tracked by moomoo, Semiconductors were falling nearly 4% following Nvidias pullback. $Super Micro Computer (SMCI.US)$ fell 7%, $Arm Holdings (ARM.US)$ fell 5%, the second largest decliner on the Nasdaq 100.

In a general recap, the market is open for a regular trading week that will see updates to U.S. GDP numbers and PCE inflation data on Friday. Last week was a shortened trading week for the Juneteenth Holiday that saw records in the S&P 500 and Nasdaq and a dramatic race to the top market cap spot between Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia.
Within an hour of the open, the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ climbed 0.12%, having hit a fresh high Thursday. The $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ climbed 0.97%, and the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ was falling 0.56%.
By direction, the market was climbing, with 7200 equities in the green, and 3100 falling.
