NVIDIA Q3 Results Beat, Data Center Revenue Surges
$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ 's Q3 revenue growth slowed to 94% YoY but exceeded expectations, driven by robust demand for Hopper chips, which helped data center revenue grow by over 100%.
However, its Q4 revenue guidance midpoint forecasted 70% growth, below Wall Street’s high-end estimate of nearly 90%. CEO Jensen Huang called the demand for Hopper chips and anticipation for Blackwell chips “incredible.”
CFO Colette Kress revealed plans to begin shipping Blackwell chips in Q4 and ramp up production next year, anticipating supply shortages for several quarters.
