NVIDIA rises after hours AMD raises outlook for AI semiconductors
[Nikkei QUICK News (NQN)] Semiconductor giant NVIDIA (NVDA) is rising due to overtime trading in the US stock market on the evening of 7/30. After the regular transaction ended at 103.73 dollars, 7.04% lower than the previous day, it was temporarily bought outside of hours until the latter half of the 109 dollar range, and it exceeded the closing price by about 6%. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in the same industry, which announced financial results for the fiscal year ending 2024/4/9 on the evening of the same day, raised sales forecasts for artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductors, and stock prices rose drastically. It seems to have led to expectations for NVIDIA. NVIDIA will announce financial results for the July-September fiscal year ending on 8/28.
