Nvidia Shareholders' Meeting Concludes Quickly, Fails to Halt 2% Intraday Drop
$NVIDIA(NVDA.US$ 's shareholder meeting, which lasted only half an hour, approved CEO Jensen Huang's $34 million compensation package for fiscal 2024, a 60% increase from the previous year.
Huang stated that the Blackwell architecture platform is likely to become the most successful product in Nvidia's history and in computer history overall.
He also mentioned that Nvidia's AI chips offer the lowest total cost of ownership, and that Nvidia can develop a resilient supply chain to meet customer demand through long-term supply agreements.
Practical quantum computing is still decades away, he noted.
