That's why I have a portfolio of guarantee stock profits with long holds and a portfolio of daytrading stocks. My guarantee portfolio hasn't had a red day in 3 years.

Mcsnacks H Tupack OP easygoing Lyon : I don't think there are any quality stocks anymore. The government using the market to inject new dollar notes into the economy has caused it to be saturated with weak and poorly ran companies. It also brought in a lot of thieves(white collar criminals). This is why no company is worth their stock capital. There were 2% companies in 2018 that were worth their market capital but I'm sure it's at 0 after 2020 and inflation. 3-6 months is about the maximum investing time. That is if you want to double your investment. I never saw the point in investing for 3 years for a 10-12% return.
