OPEC Cuts Oil Demand Forecast for Fifth Consecutive Month, Largest Reduction Yet

OPEC lowered its 2024 demand growth forecast by 210,000 bpd to 1.6 million bpd. Since July, the organization has cut its forecast by 27%. Analysts note OPEC’s projections remain above market consensus and higher than actual 2023 consumption data.
