Open AI, discussions with Broadcom etc. over semiconductor development = US press

The US media “The Information” reported on the 18th that US Open AI, which developed the generative AI (artificial intelligence) “chat GPT,” is discussing the development of new AI semiconductors with semiconductor design companies such as Broadcom.
Open AI is searching for a plan to produce AI chips in-house in order to respond to insufficient supply of image processing semiconductors (GPUs) necessary for AI model development.
