Contrary to this consensus, New Street Research analyst Pierre Feragu forecasts 438,000 units, a 5% decline from the current consensus. Feragu cited "Factory shutdowns to drive material miss."
$Amazon (AMZN.US)$ shares fell by 4.03%, closing at $125.98. Its options trading volume is 0.98 million. Call contracts account for 55.9% of the whole trading volume. The most traded calls are contracts of $132 strike price that expire on September 29th. The total volume reaches 17,275 with an open interest of 6,635. The most traded puts are contracts of a $130 strike price that expires on September 29th; the volume is 10,262 contracts with an open interest of 4,031.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) said Amazon uses "a set of interlocking anticompetitive and unfair strategies" to push up prices and stifle competition.
Amazon said the lawsuit was "wrong on the facts and law, and we look forward to making that case in court". It is the latest technology giant to be sued by US regulators. The FTC's boss, Lina Khan, has had Amazon in her crosshairs for years.
$Bank of America (BAC.US)$ shares fell by 1.56%, closing at $27.17. Its options trading volume is 0.22 million. Call contracts account for 40.4% of the whole trading volume. The most traded calls are contracts of $28.5 strike price that expire on September 29th. The total volume reaches 14,514 with an open interest of 6,939. The most traded puts are contracts of a $27.5 strike price that expires on September 29th; the volume is 14,514 contracts with an open interest of 6,939.
