New Street Research analysts have downgraded Nvidia stock from Buy to Neutral. This decision is based on expectations that GPU revenues will increase by 35% in 2025, in line with previous forecasts, but with limited further upside. Analysts suggest that significant gains would only occur in a bullish scenario beyond 2025, a situation they are not confident will materialize.
The research firm also noted a projected slowdown in revenue growth to mid-teens, potentially impacted by reduced hyperscale capital expenditures and increasing competition from ASICs and $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$. They caution that Nvidia's stock, currently trading at 40 times next twelve months' earnings per share (NTM EPS), may face a risk of derating if growth slows.
New Street values Nvidia at 35x earnings, similar to late 2019 and early 2020 levels. With an estimated EPS of $4.1 in 2027, this valuation translates to a target price of $143 in 2026, indicating limited upside over the next two years. The firm has set a one-year target price of $135 for NVDA, suggesting around a 5% increase from current levels.

Jim Cramer in a latest program yet again voiced his frustration regarding Palantir's business visibility, saying the company is like a "giant black box." He said it'd "help" if the company would "tell what they do."
Wall Street disagrees with Cramer. Recently, BofA added Palantir to its best of breed stocks list. Wedbush analyst Dan Ives said in a latest note that Palantir Technologies is one of the stocks that can benefit from the "AI party" that is just getting started. Ives counted Palantir Technologies among the stocks that will ride the AI wave thanks to their "massive installed bases" in both the enterprise and consumer spaces.
Wedbush's Dan Ives said the latest selloff around Palantir Technologies was a "golden" buying opportunity. Ives has an Outperform rating and a $35 price target on Palantir Technologies. Palantir Technologies is trading at a high P/E multiple of 170, which has alarmed many. However, Palantir Technologies bulls believe Palantir Technologies' consistent contract wins from the government and AI-related growth catalysts justify this multiple. Analysts are bullish on Palantir Technologies' AI platform (AIP), which helps companies and governments in decision making based on AI technologies. In the first quarter alone, Palantir Technologies Inc saw a 16% YoY increase in government contracts. US government revenue jumped 12% year over year.
