1. $MicroStrategy (MSTR.US)$ stock fell 8% in Monday's trading with the most traded puts are contracts of $300 strike price that expire on Jan 3, 2025 and the total volume reaching 15,377 with the open interest of 7,484, while the most traded calls are contracts of $370 strike price that expire on Jan 3, 2025.
MicroStrategy bought more bitcoin in the past week, making it eight weeks in a row that the company has acquired more of the digital currency.
The software company-turned-bitcoin buyer said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Monday that it had spent around $209 million in cash to buy 2,138 bitcoin between Dec. 23 and Dec. 29 at an average price of $97,837. The company now holds 446,400 bitcoin.
Also, the company has announced the sale of 592,987 class A common stock shares, raising approximately $209 million in net proceeds, as detailed in a recent SEC filing.
